Neucoat

Visual Identity | Marketing Materials | Photography

Neucoat is a polymer coating company that specialises in PVC & PU coated textiles. Their head office is based in Durban, South Africa from which they dispatch products to various locations around the globe.

Project Goal: Neucoat was looking for a fresh new look to modernise its appearance that would go hand-in-hand with its internal transformation.

Neucoat’s chic new logo was designed while keeping multiple factors, relating to their business, in mind. Inspiration was drawn from the liquid form of the PVC during the coating process, which is referenced through the horizontal streaks in the logomark. The rounded shape, of the logomark, was inspired by the textile cores used by Neucoat.

For this project, along with the development of Neucoat’s new visual identity, I was tasked to design various marketing materials ranging from banners to flyers to business cards. This also included photography of their production plant and products that would later be used for designs, social platforms and their website.

Some photographs taken in the Neucoat factory.

We stuck to monochromatic photographs to draw attention to the process and machinery.
